With the help from the public, The Hague Street Art wants to make new Street Art in the district of Rustenburg-Oostbroek

In recent years, THSA has painted nearly forty power houses in the city district Segbroek, which previously caused a gloomy scene and worked like a magnet to illegal graffiti and posters.

The paintings have a preventive effect against these forms of vandalism and also provide a much more joyful street image. This unique project has ensured that The Hague now owns the largest public Street Art exhibition in the Netherlands.

Making artworks together with residents

With this project we want to create artworks together with the residents, that will be a joyous addition to the playgrounds, so that the neighborhood can be proud of it!

In order to realize this, we will first talk to the residents who use the playgrounds to find out what they consider important and would like to see painted on the buildings. Next, Street Art artists will make designs based on these wishes, which the entire district can vote for online. Under guidance and with the help of a professional Street Art artist, the winning design will be painted on the houses by the young residents.

To make sure the paintings stay nice and are easy to clean, they are coated with a protective layer. In this way, we create quality paintings which the district can enjoy for a long time!

Crowdfunding

The residents have been trying to change the somber buildings into something positive for years now, but they can't do this alone. With your help, we can organize this project and ensure a successful result!

With your donation, you contribute to a colorful setting for the residents of The Hague and offer a legal stage for Street Art artists. If this is not enough reason, we have also devised some nice gifts to thank everyone for their support!

Donate and come visit the opening party, meet the residents and see the fresh street art works!
