The third edition of BlockJam this year was another great succes!
The location of the third BlockJam of this year was located on the Newtonplein in the Segbroek district. It was a lovely sunny day full of creativity, sportsmanship and music. During the event THSA worked with visitors on a large graffiti wall.
Besides the graffiti wall, there was a beautiful "urban knitting" project created by the residents of residential care center Jonker French. Prior to the event these residents have met several times to work on this beautiful, colorful piece of art!
BlockJam is a cultural, creative, informative and sportive event where young people from the neighborhood can help to organise themselves. BlockJam offers young people from the district the opportunity to discover their own talent to showcase and develop. There is also the possibility for asking questions to professionals in the field about healthy leisure, various sports clubs, neighborhood activities, work and future . BlockJam brings youth, talent, community organizations and the district together.
