'RakeStreken' is artist duo Paul Boswijk (1984) and Sanne Knoester (1975) from The Hague. Combining the different styles of the two artists on one canvas or wall creates unique paintings that could not be made by just one of the artists. Their work is made on the spot without the use of sketches, so their work is in constant development. Calligraphy is a major part of the work, combined with abstract work, portraits or furniture making. In the end, it's the viewer's role to see the story, or the stories in their work. "We would like to be surprised by the viewer's interpretation of our work."
